Find below the details of the Lord Mayor of London's Show Fly-Past which took place on Saturday 12th November 2005. Thanks to the many sources including LAS members, Wattisham e-group and Leeming Aviation Group for their help.

The Tornado F.3 aircraft began to depart from RAF Leeming at 09:40, in a formation sequence of 3 + 3 + 2 + 2 for Southwold, Suffolk, to hold. The formation callsign was SAVAGE FORMATION.

SAVAGE 10 the 'airspare', returned to RAF Leuchars after leaving the main formation soon after it left the Southwold Hold. After SAVAGE FORMATION overflew the Mansion House it was passed to Northolt Approach. After 8 minutes they were handed to BRIZE RADAR, then onto LONDON MIL for the climb to FL100. SAVAGE 1 to 6 were cleared via Daventy back to Leeming, while SAVAGE 7 to 9 were cleared via Shawbury, Whitegate and Pole Hill to Leuchars.

There was a weather 'recce' by ZD703 BAe.125 CC.3 of 32(TR) Squadron c/sign MERCHANT WEATHER CHECK (It had been allocated ASCOT 1773) which got airborne from RAF Northolt at 08:45 and was seen heading south from Southwold about 09:00. It returned to Northolt at 10:20. Also from Northolt was ZJ140 Twin Squirrel HCC.1 of 32(TR) Squadron calling ASCOT 1728 (It had been allocated MERCHANT PHOTO) working CITY RADAR who wouldn�t let him down to the Mansion House to "recce".

Finally there was XV109, VC.10 C.1K of 101 Squadron c/sign GUARDIAN 71 airborne at 10:03 from RAF Fairford. It launched in case of any delays requiring the Tornado F.3's to need more fuel.
